Mrs. Linda Sue Pearson, 72 of Cedar Grove, Tennessee, passed away Sunday, June 4, 2023 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.

Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, June 10, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Antwanne Jordan officiating.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church on Saturday from 11:00 AM until time of service.

Mrs. Pearson was born January 3, 1951 in Huntingdon, Tennessee, to the late David and Claudine (Owens) Cozart.  She was a home maker and a member of Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church.  One of her favorite hobbies included collecting cookie jars and figurines.  Other than her parents, she was also preceded in death by one daughter, Serrena Cozart, one brother, Donnie Ray Cozart, and her step-father, Henry Williams.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her husband of 54 years, James Lee Pearson, two daughters, Tonia Pearson, Stephanie Pearson, one sister, Evergene Cozart, all of Cedar Grove, TN, one aunt Kathrine Wilson of Nashville, TN, one uncle, Ben Owens of Huntingdon.  She also leaves one grandson, Jarvis Pearson (Rebecca Carrington), four great grandchildren, two nieces, two nephews, four sisters-in-law, eight step brothers, four step-sisters, and a host of family and friends.
