Lula Mae Haywood's Obituary
Mrs. Lula Mae Haywood, 79 of Huntingdon, Tennessee, passed away Friday, May 10, 2013 at the Jackson Madison County General Hospital.
Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, May 13, 2013 at 11:00AM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Davis Chapel Cemetery. Bro. Wayne Holmes and Bro. Alex Hilliard will officiate the service.
The family will receive friends in the Cherrywood Room of Chase Funeral Home on Sunday, May 12, 2013 from 5:00PM until 9:00PM and on Monday from 8:00AM until time of service.
Mrs. Haywood was born July 14, 1933 in Carroll County Tennessee to the late Clyde Mallard and Linnie Eula (Smothers) Mallard. She was a retired factory worker for the Publix Shirt Corporation and a member of the Davis Chapel United Methodist Church. She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Linda Kay Haywood, and two brothers, John Latham and Robert Mallard.
She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Tom Haywood, one daughter, Rita Mulina (Wesley) of Franklinton, Louisiana. She also leaves two grandchildren, Caleb and Callie Mulina.
