Mrs. Mae Elizabeth Ridings Keeton, 84 of Huntingdon, Tennessee, passed away Friday, August 30, 2019 at The King's Daughters & Sons Home in Bartlett, Tennessee.
Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, September 7, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Huntingdon First United Methodist Church. Interment will follow in Carroll Memorial Gardens. Rev. Tim Atkins will officiate the service.
The family will receive friends in the Cherrywood Room of Chase Funeral Home on Friday evening from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM and on Saturday at Huntingdon First United Methodist Church from 10:00 AM until time of service.
Mrs. Keeton was born April 2, 1935 in Parkers Crossroads, Tennessee to the late Robert Gardner Ridings and Lora Mae (Taylor) Ridings. She was retired from Bank of Huntingdon, a member of Huntingdon First United Methodist Church, an avid bridge player, and served on the Board of Directors for the Carroll County Fair for many years. Mrs. Keeton's greatest joy was her family and she was extremely proud of her children and grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Billy B. Keeton, a sister, Sue Parks; a brother, James Robert Ridings, and a grandson, Jonathon Kit Fentem.
She is survived by two daughters; Teresa Keeton Winter (husband Wiley) of Bartlett, Tennessee, Tina Keeton Fentem (husband Don) of Kingston, Oklahoma, and one son; Billy Keith Keeton (wife Karen) of Edmonds, Washington, one sister; Faye Ridings Graham (husband Oscar) of Bruceton. She also leaves eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to be made to Huntingdon First United Methodist Church, Crossroads Hospice in Memphis, TN or King's Daughters and Sons Home in Bartlett, TN.
