Obituary

Mrs. Mamie Donald, 95 of Huntingdon, Tennessee, passed away Thursday, April 16, 2020 at Lifecare Center in Bruceton, Tennessee.

Private graveside funeral services will be conducted Sunday, April 19, 2020 at 1:00 PM at Humbles Cemetery.

Mrs. Donald was born July 1, 1924 in Yuma, Tennessee, to the late Charlie Priest Weathers and Florence (Pearson) Weathers.  She worked at Milan Arsenal for a number of years and retired from Basler Electric Company.  She had a passion for quilting and caring for people.  She was also preceded in death by her first husband, S. J. Taylor, Johnny Lewis Taylor, her second husband, George Donald, one son, J. T. Taylor, four sisters, Edda (Weathers) Owens, Nadine (Weathers) Gooch, Lula (Weathers) Ford, Susie (Weathers) Bright, five brothers, Charlie P. Weathers, L. B. Weathers, Paul Weathers, John Elvis Weathers, and A. L. Weathers, one grandson, Deshawn Taylor and one granddaughter, Jackie (Taylor) Smith.

She is survived by three daughters, Mae Helen Hart of Cedar Grove, Louise (Billy) Williams, Rose Johnson, both of Huntingdon, one step daughter, Sandra Donald-Foster of Paducah, Kentucky, three sons, L. T. (Martha) Taylor of Jackson, Charles (Sherron) Taylor, Jimmy Lee Taylor, two step sons, Don E. Donald, Lindsey Neal (Teresa) Donald, and one daughter-in-law, Chestine Taylor, all of Huntingdon.  She also leaves twenty-two grandchildren, twenty-one great-grandchildren, and numerous great great-grandchildren, a special friend, Margaret James, who loved her dearly, a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
