Mrs. Margaret "Marty" Elaine Cooper, 61, of Huntingdon, Tennessee passed away Thursday, May 4, 2017 at her home.

Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, May 8, 2017 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Long Rock Cemetery. Bro. Chase Sanders will officiate the service.

The family will receive friends in the Cherrywood Room of Chase Funeral Home on Sunday from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday from 8:00 AM until time of service.

Mrs. Cooper was born August 3, 1955 in Carroll County, Tennessee. She was a homemaker and attended Twin Oaks Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her mother, Dorothy (Byars) Lopez and a sister, Diane Welch.

She is survived by two daughters, Mitzie Eckenrode of Paris and Karla Sanders of Columbia; two sisters, Lori Caruthers of Columbia and Regina Jackson of Selmer; a brother in law, Donald Welch of Huntingdon and a sister in law, Carmen Taylor of Paris. She also leaves one granddaughter, Megan Eckenrode, one great granddaughter, Ayreonna Lawrence and a nephew, Michael Welch.
