Mrs. Margaret Lucille Pearson, 81, of Jackson, Tennessee formerly Cedar Grove, passed away Tuesday, September 20, 2016 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.

Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, September 24, 2016 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Obion Chapel Cemetery. Bro. Ernest Pounds will officiate the service.

The family will receive friends in the Cherrywood Room of Chase Funeral Home on Friday from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM and on Saturday from 10:00 AM until time of service.

Pallbearers who will serve are Brian Pearson, Scott Peters, Nick Pearson, Mike Ruckle, and Kyle Gedenk.

Mrs. Pearson was born November 10, 1934 in Carroll County, Tennessee to the late Ive and Onie Brinkley Towater. She was a retired manager for Radio Shack and a member of the Obion Chapel Church of Christ. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Joe Towater and Johnny Towater.

She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Harold Pearson; one daughter; Patricia Gail Peters (Jeff) of Peotone, Illinois; one son, Bobby Gene Pearson (Rae) of Indianapolis, Indiana; nine sisters and brothers, Levi Towater of Nashville, Mary Sue Arnold of Chicago, Illinois, Dorothy Arnold of Fox Lake, Illinois, Frankie Towater of Huntingdon, Shirley Robinson of Cedar Grove, Nancy Rice of Huntingdon, Jimmy Towater of Lexington, Robert Arnold, and Stevie Towater both of Cedar Grove. She also leaves five grandchildren, Brian Pearson, Stacy Ruckle, Scott Peters, Sara Tolzman, and Nick Pearson and fourteen great grandchildren.
