Mrs. Margaret Marie Whitmore, 88, of Bruceton, Tennessee passed away Thursday, May 17, 2018 at her home.

Mrs. Whitmore was born June 22, 1929 in McKenzie, Tennessee to the late John S. and Bula Jane (Futrell) Spicer. She was a factory worker for the Wilker Brothers Company and a member of the Union Academy Missionary Baptist Church. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Ruth Pearson; a son, Jerry Ivy; two infant sons; two sisters and one brother.

She is survived by three daughters, Rhonda Wood of Bruceton, Tina Verdell of Paris, and Robin Whitmore of Chicago, Illinois; three sons, William Pearson of Bruceton, Kenneth Ivy of South Bend, Indiana, and Randy Vestal of McKenzie. She also leaves twenty-nine grandchildren, twenty-four great grandchildren, and six great grandchildren.
