Mrs. Margie Marie Neely, 84 of Huntingdon, Tennessee passed away Monday, March 05, 2012 at her home.



Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, March 9, 2012 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Bethlehem Cemetery.

The family will receive friends in the Cherrywood Room of Chase Funeral Home on Thursday from 12:00 PM until 9:00 PM and on Friday from 8:00 AM until time of service.


Mrs. Neely was born July 8, 1927 in Carroll County, Tennessee to the late Bessie Morgan.

She was a homemaker and a member of the Palmer Shelter United Methodist Church. She was also preceded in death by her husband; Henry Herman Neely, one daughter; Barbara Ann Birdwell, one sister; Ruby Merrill and one brother; Jim Lacey.

She is survived by two daughters; Linda Farmer (husband Gary), Jennifer (Birdwell) Simmons (husband James) both of Huntingdon, one son; Robert Lee Neely of McKenzie and one sister; Sarah Elizabeth Davidson of Nashville. She also leaves four grandchildren; Jamie Neely, Crystal Neely Shaw, Derrick Farmer and Timothy Farmer and six great grandchildren.
