Obituary

Ms. Mary Marie Fry, 77, of Bruceton, formerly of Cedar Grove, Tennessee passed away peacefully Friday, January 17, 2025 at Lifecare Center of Bruceton.

Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, January 22, 2025, at 1:00 P.M. at Leach Seventh Day Adventist Church with Bro. Tim Osborne officiating. Interment to follow in Leach Seventh Day Adventist Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Leach Seventh Day Adventist Church on Wednesday from 11:00 A.M. until time of service.

Ms. Fry was born March 15, 1947, in Terry Community, to the late Floyd Earl Coble and Verlie Marie Pryor Coble. Growing up she attended Terry Community School. She was a homemaker and a member of Leach Seventh Day Adventist Church. She was a loving stepmother, step grandmother, aunt, daughter and sister. She helped raise several grandchildren and great grandchildren.  Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 33 years, Arvil Pickett Fry, whom she married May 4, 1966, and he preceded her in death on May 21, 1999, brothers, James Earl Coble, Bill Coble, a sister Darlene Coble Figard, a step daughter, Rosalind Fry Powers and a stepson Richard Fry.

She is survived her step-daughter, Mary Elizabeth Fry, of Cedar Grove, four step grandsons, Gary Powers, Greg Powers, Randy McMinn, and Robert Tart, two step granddaughters, Daniella Fry Ross, Susan McMinn Holt, a sister, Ardelle Coble Marx of Fredericksburg, Virginia three nephews, Jason Hubbs, of Huntingdon, James Coble, of Paris, and Richard Marx of Fredericksburg, Virginia, one niece, Jennifer White, of Lexington, four great nephews Jayden Simpson, Bentley Bonee, Gunner Bonee, and Nathan Marx, and several cousins and step great grandchildren.
