Mrs. Marilyn Josephine. Loyd, 77, of Huntingdon, Tennessee passed away Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at her home.

Graveside services will be conducted on Thursday, December 21, 2017 at 2:00PM in the Oak Hill Cemetery. Bro. Jeff Moody will officiate the service.

The family will receive friends at Chase Funeral Home on Thursday from 12:00 PM until time of departure to the cemetery

Mrs. Loyd was born July 31, 1940 in Lexington, Tennessee to the late John Ed and Fannie Catherine (Harper) Williams. She was a Retired Substitute Teacher for the Huntingdon Special School District and was a member of the Eastview Baptist Church where she was the Organist. She was also preceded in death by her husband, James M. Loyd in 2016 and a grandson, David Joshua Loyd.

She is survived by one daughter, Vicky Hatch (Randy); one son, David Loyd (Teresa) both of Huntingdon She also leaves one granddaughter, Hayley Hatch Ezell (Cody) of Huntingdon and a great grandson on the way, Conor Ezell; faithful sitters and caregivers, Shirley Barker, Brooxie Davis, and Carolyn Pillow, and several nieces and nephews.
