Mrs. Marjorie Nell Caton, 97, of Huntingdon, Tennessee passed away Sunday, October 9, 2016 at Baptist Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Shiloh Cemetery. Pastor Mark Carrigan will officiate the service.

The family will receive friends in the Cherrywood Room of Chase Funeral Home on Tuesday from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Wednesday from 1:00 PM until time of service.

Mrs. Caton was born September 2, 1919 in Huntingdon, Tennessee to the late Lucas and Lola (Routon) Taylor. She was a retired Manager for the Tennessee Department of Employment, a member of the Huntingdon First United Methodist Church, and was one of the founding members of the Huntingdon Women's Club. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Caton; two brothers, Parnell Taylor and Russell Taylor.

She is survived by one daughter, Marilyn Rich ( husband Terry) and one son, Brian Caton (wife Jean) both of Huntingdon. She also leaves three grandchildren, Courtney Caton, Nick Rich, and Rita Hayes.
