Mrs. Martha Dee Mitchum, 72, of Huntingdon, Tennessee passed away Friday, August 18, 2017 at the McKenzie Regional Hospital.

Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, August 24, 2017 at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Humbles Cemetery. Pastor Jeremy Seward will officiate the service.

The family will receive friends in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home on Thursday from 9:00 AM until 12:00 PM.

Mrs. Mitchum was born December 18, 1944 in Carroll County, Tennessee to the late Wade Crider and Emma Taylor. She was retired from the H.I.S Company and was a Member of the True Holiness Deliverance Temple in Milan. She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Virginia Ruth Taylor and Janie Tharpe; four brothers, Ernest Taylor, Vernice Taylor, S. J. Taylor,and L.B. Taylor.

She is survived by her husband of 18 years, Daniel Mitchum; three sons, Timmy Taylor, Thomas Wayne Mitchell Jr., and Ricky Taylor all of Huntingdon. She also leaves behind 16 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, and friends.
