Mrs. Martha J. Roll, 68 of Hollow Rock, Tennessee passed Sunday, May 19, 2013 at Henry County Medical Center.

Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, May 23, 2013 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Pisgah Cemetery.

The family will receive friends in the Cherrywood Room on Wednesday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Thursday from 8:00 AM until time of service.

Mrs. Roll was born November 25, 1944 in Haleyville, Alabama to the late Leonard and Myrtle (Garrison) Rowell. She owned her own farm and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Walter Rowell and Sam Rowell.

She is survived by four daughters, Dianna Rogers (Robert) of Bruceton, Dellita Devine (Jim) of Rockford, Illinois, Daphne Snodgrass (Brett) of Byron, Illinois, Danette Connors (Steve) of Glen Ellyn, Illinois; four sons, James Roll of Chicago, Illinois, Charles Roll of Hollow Rock, Dana Skaar of Paris and Delbert Skaar of Rockford, Illinois; one sister, Betty Steele of Rockford, Illinois; one sister-in-law, Linda Rowell of Stillman Valley, Illinois and one brother, Gene Rowell of Rockford, Illinois. She also leaves twenty one grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
