Mrs. Mary Ravanell Britt, 85 of Huntingdon, Tennessee, passed away Sunday, December 28, 2014 at the Life Care Center in Bruceton.

Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Long Rock Cemetery. Pastor Mark Carringan will officiate the service.

The family will receive friends in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home on Tuesday from 11:00 AM until time of service.

Mrs. Britt was born July 5, 1929 in Springville, Tennessee to the late John H. and Esther (Lowry) Sanders. She retired from Publix Shirt Corp, was a member of the First United Methodist Church where she kept the nursery for several, years and playing bridge was her passion. She was also preceded in by her husband Leo Britt; one sister Reba Hall; two brothers, John Sanders Jr. and Charles Sanders.

She is survived by one daughter, Betty Parrish (husband Edward) of Paris; two sisters, Naomi Dillahunty (husband Billy), Jean Barnhart (husband Robert); three brothers, Paul Sanders, Sam Sanders (wife Dorothy), and Dwight Sanders (wife Susan) all of Huntingdon. She also leaves two grandchildren, Brandy Parrish and Eddie Parrish, and three great grandchildren, Eve Parrish, Grace Parrish, and Alana Wade.
