Ms. Mary Elizabeth Bynum, 87 of McLemoresville, Tennessee passed away Saturday, July 28, 2018 at the McKenzie Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center.

Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, July 30, 2018 at 3:00 PM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home with Bro. Jackie Smith officiating the service. Interment will follow in the McLemoresville Cemetery.

The family will receive friends in the Cherrywood Room of Chase Funeral Home on Sunday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Monday from 10:00 AM until time of service.

Ms. Bynum was born June 4, 1931 to the late Chester Harwood Helms and Amie Corine (Quinn) Helms. She had retired from the Publix shirt Factory and was a member of the McLemoresville United Methodist Church. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Sam Cunningham, her second husband, Travis Bynum, two sisters, Christine Helms and Lois Hall.

She is survived by one step son, Dwaine Edwards of Buena Vista, two sisters, Brooxie Bush (husband Jerry) of McKenzie, Deborah Doom (husband Don) of Eddyville, Kentucky, one brother, Marshall Helms (wife Jean) of Paris, and two special friends, Rosemary Taylor and Janice Vinson. She also leaves two step grandchildren, Scott Edwards and Scarlett Edwards.
