Mrs. Mary Ann Dodd 71, of Cedar Grove, Tennessee passed away Wednesday, July 23, 2014 at the Jackson Madison County General Hospital.

Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, July 27, 2014 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Seventh Day Adventist Cemetery. Bro. Greg Jones will officiate the service.

The family will receive friends in the Cherrywood Room of Chase Funeral Home on Saturday 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Sunday from 9:00 AM until time of service.

Mrs. Dodd was born January 22, 1943 in Carroll County, Tennessee to the late Willie Dutch and Nora Ann (Hale) Floyd. She was retired from Basler Electric Company and was a member of the Westport Missionary Baptist Church. She was also preceded in death by a son, Charles Dodd; four sisters, Peggy Sue Jackson, Betty James and twin infant sisters, Janice and Janet Floyd; two brothers, James Floyd, Bobby Floyd, a half brother, Willie Leroy Floyd, and step brother, Floyd Hilliard.

She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Jerry Dodd; one daughter, Sherry Rudd (husband David) of Troy; three sons, Harold Danny Dodd (wife Terry) of Huntingdon, Anthony "Tony" Dodd (wife Tammy) of Cedar Grove and Timothy Dodd of Sikeston, Missouri; daughter- in -law, Melaine Jackson of Valley View, Texas; one sister, Wilma Smith (husband Billy) of Huntingdon; one step sister, Roberta Lange of Westport; one brother, Ed Junior Floyd (wife Jean) of Westport, and one step brother, Johnny Hilliard of Cedar Grove. She also leaves eleven grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren
