Mrs. Mary A. Evans, 93, of McKenzie, Tennessee formerly of Westport, passed away Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at the Baptist Memorial Hospital in Huntingdon.

Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, January 25, 2018 at 2:00PM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Jamison Cemetery.

The family will receive friends in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home on Thursday from 10:00 AM until time of service.

Mrs. Evans was born August 5, 1924 in Arkansas to the late James Henry and Ada (Harris) Jones. She was also preceded in death by her husband Gradon Evans; two sisters, Mae Haynes and Jean Floyd; four brothers, Owen Jones, Bill Jones, Elgie "Scrub" Jones, and Mack Jones; a step daughter, Patsy Blackwell.

She is survived by one daughter, Toni Davis (Dalton) of McKenzie; one stepson, Larry Evans (Sue) of Aurora, Illinois; a sister in law, Pat Jones of Chicago, Illinois; a brother in law, Junior Floyd of Westport. She also leaves two grandsons, Michael Davis and Christopher Davis, and many step grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
