Obituary

Mrs. Mary Maxine Harris, 88, of Yuma, Tennessee passed away Friday, February 28, 2020 at AHC McKenzie.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, March, 1, 2020 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home with Bro. Chase Sanders officiating.  Interment will follow in Carroll Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home on Sunday from 11:00 AM until time of service.

Pallbearers who will serve are Hunter McCadams, Scott Chandler, Ben Harris, Jacob Harris, Wyatt Stokes, and Sam McCadams.

Mrs. Harris was born August 16, 1931 Westport, Tennessee, to the late Clarence Smith and Jessie (Johnson) Smith.  She was a member of Clarksburg Church of Christ, worked as a seamstress for Publix Shirt Factory for several years, and retired from Fred's Dollar Store.  She loved cooking, gardening and most of all, loving her grandchildren.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, James "Squeeky" Harris, a son-in-law, Glenn McCadams, two sisters, Marjorie Brandon, Mildred Brice, two brothers, Robert Smith, and Ray Smith.

She is survived by her two daughters, Alacia McCadams of Nashville, Patricia Chandler (Danny) of Camden, two sons, Kenny Harris (Rita) of Three-Way, and Kevin Harris (Laurie) of Union City.  She also leaves eight grandchildren, Hunter (Chip) McCadams, Scott Chandler, Charity Summers, Stacy Stokes, Jill Batson, Heather Hicks, Ben Harris, Jacob Harris, seventeen great-grandchildren and two great great-grandchildren.
