Mrs. Mary Nell McMackins, 80, of Bruceton, Tennessee passed away Sunday April 23, 2017 at Life Care Center of Bruceton.

Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Prospect Cemetery. Bro. Steve Davis will officiate the service. The family will receive friends in the Cherrywood Room on Monday from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM and Tuesday from 11:00 AM until time of service.

Mrs. McMackins was born September 16, 1936 in Zach, TN the daughter of the late William Elliott and Floy (Patterson) Hurt. She was retired from the Cafeteria at Central High School and a member of Prospect Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by Four Brothers and One Sister.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Gene Robert McMackins; a son, Russell McMackins of Chesapeake, Virginia; daughters, Amy Jo Hollingsworth of Medina, Sherrie Jean Finnan (Dave) of Pisgah Forest, North Carolina, Bonnie Gayle Hilliard (Bruce) of Bruceton, Kathy Dunham of Huntingdon and a step daughter, Teresa McMackins of McKenzie; Ten grandchildren, Charly, John, Danny, Katie, Aaron, Brandon, Michael, Brandee, Shane and Jessica; and five great grandchildren.
