Mrs. Mary Ann Moody, 73, of Jackson, Tennessee passed away Saturday, October 7, 2017 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.

Graveside services will be conducted on Friday, October 13, 2017 at 10:00 AM in the New Hope Cemetery. Bro. Alex Hilliard will officiate the service.

The family will receive friends in the Oakwood Room of Chase Funeral Home on Thursday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

Mrs. Moody was born September 3, 1944 in Charleston, Missouri to the late Johnny Lee and Mary Lorene (Maxey) Stone. She was a self employed Nail Technician. She was also preceded in death by her husband, L.A. Moody; three brothers, Jessie Lee Stone, Earnest Larry Stone, and Ronnie C. Stone.

She is survived by a daughter, Julie Ann Moody of Jackson; a son, Norman Moody (Carolyn) of Memphis; two sisters in law, Diane Gay of Little Rock, Arkansas and Marjorie Noles of Huntingdon; one brother in law, Larry Moody of Huntingdon. She also leaves three grandsons, Robert Moody, Samuel Moody, and Thomas Moody and several nieces and nephews.
