Ms. Mary Louise Newsome, 98 of Cedar Grove, Tennessee passed away Wednesday, July 3, 2019 at the Huntingdon Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, July 7, 2019 at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home with Bro. Craig Smith officiating the service. Interment will follow in the Hickory Flat Cemetery.

The family will receive friends in the Cherry Wood Room of Chase Funeral Home on Saturday from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM and on Sunday from 10:00 AM until time of service.

Ms. Newsome was born June 29, 1921 in Cedar Grove, to the late Dr. T. W. Thomas and Della (Gateley) Thomas. She was a retired beautician. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Jackie Smith and a sister, Lucy Roe.

She is survived by a daughter, Jimmie Eubanks (Anthony) of Cedar Grove, a son, John Newsome (Linda) of McLemoresville and a sister, Colleen Crinch of Phoenix, Arizona. She also leaves eight grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren and thirteen great great grandchildren.
