Mrs. Mary Etta (Umstead) Pinson, 82 of Atwood, Tennessee, passed away Thursday, January 20, 2022 at NHC Milan.

Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, January 24, 2022 at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home with Bro. Scotty Davis officiating.  Interment will follow in Pisgah Cemetery in Atwood.

The family will receive friends in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home on Monday from 10:00 AM until time of service.

Mrs. Pinson was born September 20, 1939 in Huntingdon, Tennessee, to the late Bill and Lee Etta (Greener) Umstead.  She worked for ITT and was a member of the House Baptist Church in Atwood.  Beside her parents, she was also preceded in death her husband of 64 years, Billy Ray Pinson, one brother, Billy Joe Umstead and one sister, Peggy DePriest.

She is survived by three sons, Steve Pinson of McLemoresville, Randall Pinson (Cindy) of Atwood, Terry Pinson (Londa) of Huntingdon, one sister, Sharon Johnson of Huntingdon.  She also leaves seven grandchildren, Beth Scruggs, Blair Sage, Chloe Pinson, Ava Pinson, Ray Pinson, Chase Pinson, Eric Pinson, four great-grandchildren, Atticus, Sam, Christine, and Dahlia.
