Mrs. Mary Sue Pruett, 87, of Huntingdon, passed away Sunday, January 28, 2018 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Huntingdon.

Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Carroll Memorial Gardens. Bro. Dan Winkler will officiate the service.

The family will receive friends in the Cherrywood Room of Chase Funeral Home on Monday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Tuesday from 10:00 AM until time of service.

Mrs. Pruett was born on July 1, 1930 in Huntingdon Tennessee to the late William Murray Bonds and Olivet Corene (Holladay) Bonds Roark. She worked in the Cutting Room for the Publix Shirt Company, was a member of the Huntingdon Church of Christ, she was a volunteer at the hospital, and was a member of the Red Hatters. She was also preceded in death by her husband, James Edward Pruett; a sister, Nellie Ruth Bonds Anderson; a nephew, Steven Leon Anderson.

She is survived by two daughters, Sandra Kay Hodge (Ray) of Huntingdon and Vicki Sue Robins (Billy) of Camden; a niece, Wanda Wall Hudson of Chattanooga. She also leaves four grandchildren, Shannon Ray Hodge, (Tricia), Shonda Renee Eskew (Gary), Heather Dawn Taylor (Michael), Brittany Shea Crouch (Brett), four great grandchildren ,Jenna Taylor, Jay Hunter Taylor, William Bennett Crouch and Parker Shea Crouch, and her loving dog Precious.
