Mrs. Mary Magdalene Quinn, 79, of Huntingdon, Tennessee passed away Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at the Life Care Center in Bruceton.
Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, September 2, 2016 at 10:00 AM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Concord Cemetery. Bro. Lynn Stapleton will officiate the service.
The family will receive friends in the Cherrywood Room of Chase Funeral Home on Thursday from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Friday from 8:00 AM until time of service.
Pallbearers who will serve are Charles Peery, James Spears, Pee Wee Gilbert, Eric Blount, Porsche McClerkin, and Thomas Derryberry.
Mrs. Quinn was born September 23, 1936 in Decatur County, Tennessee to the late William Asa Gilbert and Eller (Williams) Gilbert. She was a retired babysitter, a member of the Concord Missionary Baptist Church and enjoyed gardening. She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Barbara Jordan; six sisters and brothers.
She is survived by three daughters, Wanda Williams of Huntingdon, Brenda Derryberry of Wildersville, and Rosa Peery (Steve) of Huntingdon; two sisters, Letha Nell Benn (Ray) of Illinois and Viola Greenway (Gordon) of Darden; two brothers, Jerry Gilbert and Earl Gilbert (Carolyn) both of Parsons. She also leaves five grandchildren, Christy Blount, Cathy Spears, Brigitte McClerking, Charles Peery, and Thomas Derryberry, and seven great grandchildren.
