Mr. Mather Pearson 84, of Huntingdon, Tennessee passed away Tuesday, February 14, 2012 at his home.



Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, February 18, 2012 at 1:00 PM at the Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Hopewell Cemetery. Rev. Shields will officiate the service.



The family will receive friends in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home on Friday from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM



Mr. Pearson was born June 16, 1927 in Carroll County, Tennessee to late Lee Pearson and Georgia (Crider) Pearson. He was also preceded in death by two daughters, Anna Rene, Regina Pearson, two sons, Stevie Pearson, Paul Pearson, one sister, Eldora Williams, and five brothers, Andrew Pearson, Hobart Pearson, Wade Pearson, Robert Pearson and Myles Pearson.



He is survived by two daughters; Frances Kay Pearson, Patricia Ann Carter both of Nashville, seven sons; Richard Mather Pearson, Earnest Ray Pearson both of Huntingdon, Billy Ray Pearson, Randy Harold Pearson both of Champaign, Illinois, Kenny Louis Pearson of Huntingdon, Nathan Lee Pearson of Champaign, Illinois and Robert Burton Pearson of Nashville, one sister; Leodia Phelps of Yuma. He also leaves thirteen grandchildren.
