Mrs. Maxine Cobb Allen, 77, passed away Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at White House Healthcare and Rehab.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday, February 21, 2022 at 10:00 AM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home with Bro. Ron Cox officiating.  Interment will follow in Trezevant Cemetery.

The family will receive friends in the Cherrywood Room of Chase Funeral Home on Sunday from 3:00 PM until 7:00 PM and on Monday from 9:00 AM until time of service.

Pallbearers who will serve are Stephen Foster, Kyle Foster, Anthony Cox, Ronnie Cox, Jimmy Chandler, and J. J. Chandler.

Mrs. Allen was born May 16, 1944 to the late Thomas "Jack" and Margaret (Powell) Cobb. She retired after twenty years in the area of Health Care Financial Management serving as Business Manager for Carroll County Hospital.  She served as secretary of Region V HFMA which covers five state area for nine years and served the Tennessee Chapter HFMA as officers, Board of Directors and was a life time member of the Tennessee Chapter.  She also owned and operated collection agency in Huntingdon and later worked at Walmart for five years, after her retirement.  Besides her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Paul Franklin Allen.

She is survived by two sons, Mitchell Darrin Allen (Tobey) of Nashville, Victor Don Foster of Huntingdon, a step son, Gary Allen of Huntingdon, two sisters, Christine Dickson of McKenzie, and Jolene Cox of Trezevant.  She also leaves six grandchildren, Ryan Foster, Brittney Foster Cavanaugh, Stephney Foster, Juliana Allen Cavaness, Landon Allen, and Caroline Allen, three great grandchildren, Enzo, London, and Adeline.
