Mr. Miles Carmack "Chops" Wilkes, 58, of Yuma, Tennessee passed away Saturday, July 15, 2017 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Union City.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Jennifer Wilkes for the family.
Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, July 20, 2017 at 10:00 AM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the New Hope Cemetery. Bro. Andrew Stokes will officiate the service.
The family will receive friends in the Oakwood Room of Chase Funeral Home on Wednesday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Thursday from 8:00 AM until time of service.
Mr. Wilkes was born March 14, 1959 in Jackson, Tennessee to the late James Leon "Chick" and Myra Elizabeth (Enochs) Wilkes. He worked for Int'l Chimney, he was retired from Local 110 Union, and a member of the Elks Lodge. He was also preceded in death by his wife Kimberly Wilkes and a brother, Mark Wilkes.
He is survived by a daughter, Jennifer Wilkes; a son, Jason Wilkes both of Huntingdon; a sister, Deborah Herald (husband Donald "Kim") of Warrior, Alabama; a brother, James Wilkes (Rhonda) of Yuma; a step brother, Charles "Chuck" Sullivan of Huntingdon. He also leaves several nieces and nephews with three he helped raise, Rachel Wilkes, Melissa Ward, and James Wilkes and eleven grandchildren, Rihanna, Makala, Aaron, Patrick, Blake, Macy, Elizabeth, Nate, Nicolas, A.J., and James.
