Mr. Morris Ray Hollowell, 70 of Huntingdon, Tennessee passed away Wednesday, January 11, 2023 at the Jackson Madison County General Hospital.

Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, January 15, 2023, at 1:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home, with Bro. Jeff Bryant and Bro. Johnny Drinkard officiating. Interment to follow in Bethel Cemetery.

The family will receive friends in the Cherrywood Room of Chase Funeral Home on Saturday from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and on Sunday from 9:00 A.M. until time of service.

Pallbearers who will serve are Jason Mayberry, David Reynolds, Hannah Anderson, Coy Moore, Johnny Drinkard, and Randy Hollowell.

Mr. Hollowell was born June 6, 1952, in Huntingdon, to the late Audrine and Alta Lee Hollowell. He retired from the maintenance department at the Huntingdon Special School District. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, R.J. Hollowell and Edward Hollowell.

He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Janice Hollowell, two sons, Joseph Hollowell (Tamara), Jason Ray Hollowell, both of McKenzie, three stepchildren, Amanda Mayberry of Nashville, Fred Johnson (Tammy) of Atwood, Jason Mayberry of Huntingdon, three sisters, Kathy Reynolds (Donald) of Huntingdon, Judith Smothers (Tim) of Leach, Linda Metcalf (William) of Cedar Grove, two brothers, William Hollowell and Michael Hollowell, both of Huntingdon. He also leaves 18 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
