Mrs. Myra Sue Reeves, 79 of McKenzie, Tennessee passed away Saturday, March 18, 2017 at her home.

Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, March 20, 2017 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Bethel Cemetery. Bro. Lynn Stapelton officiated the service.

The family will receive friends in the Oak Wood Room of Chase Funeral Home on Sunday from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM and on Monday from 8:00 AM until time of service.

Mrs. Reeves was born January 12, 1938 in McKenzie, Tennessee to the late Lucian Henry and Agnes (Montgomery) DeMoss. She was retired from Wal-Mart, Inc. and a member of Huntingdon Missionary Baptist Church. She was also preceded in death by one son, Byron Earl Reeves, two brothers, Bobby DeMoss and Gary DeMoss.

She is survived by one daughter, Suedean Smothers (husband Tim) of Huntingdon, one son, Tim Reeves (wife Karen) of McKenzie, two sisters, Debra Scott (husband Jerry) and Marketta Hudson (husband Tom) both of Maryville. She also leaves four grandchildren, Jennifer Grice, Kevin Smothers, Megan Vandyke, Courtney Keck, four great-grandchildren, Macie, Mallorie, Mollie, Anson, and several nieces and nephews.
