Mrs. Nannie Lee (Bedwell) Cannon, 95 of Huntingdon, Tennessee, passed away Saturday, May 14, 2016, at the Baptist Memorial Hospital in Huntingdon.

Funeral Services will be conducted on Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at 4:00 PM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Palmer Shelter Cemetery. Bro. Jim Holt will officiate the service.

The family will receive friends in the Cherrywood Room of Chase Funeral Home on Monday after 5:00 PM and on Tuesday from 8:00 AM until time of service.

Mrs. Cannon was born May 28, 1920 in Carroll County, Tennessee, to the late Vernice and Ethel (Kelley) Bedwell. She was a member of the Spring Hill Baptist Church and a retired seamstress for H I S Company. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Joseph C. Cannon, five brothers, Robert Bedwell, Willie G. Bedwell, Wayne Bedwell, Joe Willard Bedwell, Charles Bedwell, and one sister, Opal Cross.

She is survived by one son, Carl Ray Cannon (wife Joyce ) of Huntingdon and one sister, Vera Futrell (husband Bob) of Hollow Rock. She also leaves two granddaughters, Teri Hilliard (husband Tim), Tameka Granger (husband Eddie), four great-grandchildren, Taylor Hilliard, Grace Hilliard, Grant Hilliard, and Madison Granger.
