Nathaniel Mebane's Obituary
Mr. Nathaniel Mebane, Sr., 85 of Huntingdon, Tennessee passed away Sunday, October 06, 2013 at the Baptist Memorial Hospital in Huntingdon.
Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, October 10, 2013 at 1:00 PM at the Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home on Wednesday from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Thursday at the Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church from 12:00 PM until time of service.
Mr. Mebane was born June 19, 1928 in Hickman County, Tennessee to the late Marion and Mamie (Hughes) Mebane. He was a retired car detailer for Taylor Chevrolet and was a United States Army Korean War Veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Norma Mebane, of Huntingdon; four daughters, Stella Hunt, Norma Alene Mebane both of Antioch, Karen Annette Mebane and Cora Ann Poole both of Huntingdon and one son, Nathaniel Mebane (Tracy) of Jackson. He also leaves six grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
