Mrs. Norma Gibbs, 85, of Huntingdon, Tennessee passed away Saturday, September 8, 2018 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.

Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, September 14, 2018 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home with Bro. Billy Ringold officiating the service. Interment will follow in the Blair Cemetery.

The family will receive friends in the Cherrywood Room of Chase Funeral Home on Thursday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Friday from 12:00 PM until time of service.

Mrs. Gibbs was born February 10, 1933 in Carroll County, Tennessee to the late John Ringold and Ruth (Belew) Ringold Dunlap. She was a Substance Abuse Counselor for Grace House and a member of the Church of Christ. She was also preceded in death by a son, James R. Gibbs, a sister, Sarah Kay Dunlap, and a step-father, Rice Dunlap.

She is survived by her daughter, Karen Russo of Waterford, Michigan; three sisters, Sue Smith (Jerry) of Huntingdon, Ann Wright (Leonard) and Myra Sasser both of McKenzie; two brothers, Donald Dunlap of Huntingdon and Steve Dunlap (Mary) of Bon Aqua, Tennessee; two granddaughters, Nicole Reid (Peter) and Michelle Russo and one great grandson, Jack Reid.
