Mrs. Norma Jean Gurley, 79, of Huntingdon, Tennessee passed away Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at her home.

Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, April 15, 2021 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home with Bro. Jamie Hames officiating. Interment will follow in Sellers Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home on Thursday from 10:00 AM until time of service.

Due to the current pandemic conditions and the family's concern for the health and well-being of others, the family has requested that those in attendance, at the visitation and funeral service, please wear a mask and practice social distancing.

Mrs. Gurley was born January 11, 1942 in McKenzie, Tennessee to the late Sidney and Naomi (Rogers) Barksdale. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Oren Ray Gurley. She was a member of Shiloh Presbyterian Church and worked many years at the Thomas Bradford Shirt Factory.

She is survived by a daughter, Rita Gurley (Kemp) of Huntingdon and two grandchildren, Ryan Gurley and Logan Gurley.
