Mrs. Opal Robinson Kirksey Dameron 105 of Huntingdon, Tennessee passed away Friday, February 20, 2015 at her home.

Funeral Services will be conducted on Monday, February 23, 2015 at 1:00 PM at the Huntingdon Missionary Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the New Hope Cemetery. Bro Lynn Stapleton will officiate the service.

The family will receive friends in the Cherrywood room of Chase Funeral Home on Sunday from 2:00 PM until 5:00 PM and at the Huntingdon Missionary Baptist Church on Monday from Noon until time of service.

Mrs. Dameron was born to the late John (Bud) Robinson and Mettie Robinson on February 21, 1910, in Carroll County, Tennessee. She was a homemaker and a charter member of the Huntingdon Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by six brothers (Dewey, Lonnie, Graden, Leon, Cleva, and Harold) and two sisters (Iota Fry and Ola Ellis). Opal was also preceded in death by her husband of twenty-eight years William "Will" Kirksey, and her husband of thirty-two years, Dorsey Dameron.

She is survived by her daughter, Sarah Ann Kirksey Ridings of Huntingdon, one grandson, Mark Eliot Ridings of Nashville, TN, two step-grandsons, Steven and David Dameron, and a step-granddaughter, Billie Ruth Kirksey McCulley and a host of nieces and nephews, all of whom she loved very much.
