Mrs. Opal Phillips, 98, of Lavinia, Tennessee passed away Sunday, November 17, 2024 at her home.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 21, 2024, at 1:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home with Bro. Robert Barger officiating. Internment to follow in Hopewell Cemetery.

The family will receive friends in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home on Thursday from 11:00 A.M. until time of service.

Mrs. Phillips was born May 30, 1926, to the late Gaylon and Lucille Gibson Perkins. She was an assembler at I.T.T. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Phillips, and a grandson, Jon Phillips.

She is survived by a daughter, Ruth Ann Martin (Steve) of Huntingdon, Steve Phillips (Vicky) of Dover, three grandchildren Jason Martin, Lee Martin, Matthew Martin, and four great-grandchildren, Caleb Martin, Olivia Martin, Jaycan Martin, Jayanna Martin.
