Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Hebron Cemetery. Bro. Bruce Crane will officiate the service.

The family will receive friends in the Cherrywood Room of Chase Funeral Home on Monday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Tuesday from noon until time of service.

Mr. Cobb born August 12, 1932 in Carroll County, Tennessee, to the late James Oscar and Ella Wease (Webb) Cobb. He was a retired Maintenance Mechanic for Gaines Manufacturing Company for 32 years, a Korean War Army Veteran, a member of the Hebron United Methodist Church, and the American Legion Post #47. He was also preceded in death by one son, James Randall Cobb, one sister, Laverne Bennett, three brothers, Eugene Cobb, Darce Lee Cobb, and Leroy Cobb.

He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Charlotte Cobb; one daughter, Jeanne Etter of Huntingdon; one sister, Judy Hopper, of Bruceton; two sisters-in-law, Janie Cobb of Hollow Rock and Marjorie Cobb of Huntingdon; one brother, Jackie Cobb (wife Janice) of Bruceton. He also leaves five grandchildren, Sarah Etter, Dylan Etter, Emilee Etter, Alex Etter, and Chad Holland.
