Mr. Patrick Elson Williams, 77, of Huntingdon, Tennessee passed away Sunday, February 1, 2015 at the Jackson Madison County General Hospital.
Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, February 4, 2015 at 1:00 PM at the First United Methodist Church in Huntingdon. Interment will follow in Bethlehem Cemetery. Rev. Larry J. Daniel and Pastor Mark Carrigan will officiate the service.
The family will receive friends in the Cherrywood Room of Chase Funeral Home on Tuesday from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday From 8:00 AM until 12:30 PM.
Mr. Williams was born April 15, 1937 in Carroll County, Tennessee to the late Amos Isom and Audrey (Chandler) Williams. He served in the United States Naval Air Reserves and was the Carroll County Judge from 1974 – 1982. He retired from CSX Railroad as Chief Yardmaster in Bruceton. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Huntingdon, member of Huntingdon Masonic Lodge#106, and a member of the Shrine. He was also preceded in death by one sister, Pansy Pace and one brother, Dewey Williams.
He is survived by his wife, Sue (Hubbard) Williams; two daughters, Tammy Williams Speights (Jeff) Jennifer Williams Daniel (Larry); one son, Michael Patrick Williams (Zona); five sisters, Peggy Park (Waddell) , Patsy Hill, Polly Melton (Billy), Molly Rumley, and Pattie Allen (Larry); three brothers, Amos Williams (Dee), Dwight Williams (Martha), and Daniel Williams (Joyce) . He also leaves seven grandchildren, Lauren McBride (Lane), Andrew Speights (Katie), Shaun Williams (Morgan), Cole Champion, William Speights, Alex Champion, Jackson Champion, and three great grandchildren, Lilah Kate McBride, Liam McBride, and Essie Williams
