Mrs. Patty Hampton 53, of Bruceton, Tennessee passed away Thursday, November 14, 2013 at her home.

Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, November 17, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Humbles Chapel Missionary Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Humbles Chapel Cemetery. Bro. Matthew Floyd will officiate the service.

The family will receive friends in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home on Friday from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Saturday all day and on Sunday from 9:00 AM until 1:30 PM.

Pallbearers who will serve are John Tate, Pee Wee Floyd, Kenneth Fowler, Ashley Ingram, Dale Lawton, Michael Hilliard, Nick Maness and Dennis Goodrum. Honorary Pallbearers are Jason Vaughn and Keith "ReeRun" Fowler.

Mrs. Hampton was born July 6, 1960 in Carroll County, Tennessee to the Late William and Virgie Pauline (Goodrum) Rumley. She worked for West Tennessee Health Care in Camden and was a member of the Humbles Chapel Missionary Baptist Church. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Carl Hampton and one brother, James Robert Goodrum.

She is survived by two daughters, Jennifer Hampton and Sarah Hampton both of Bruceton; two sisters, Melissa Dill (Bobby), Denise Rumley both of Huntingdon, one brother, David Goodrum (Kimberly) of Camden. She also leaves five grandchildren, Brilynn Hampton, Jazmein Parker, Malaki Hampton, Braxton Hampton and Sophia Hampton.
