Mr. Paul Hampton, 97, of Huntingdon, Tennessee passed away Saturday, September 21, 2019 at RHA Healthcare in Trenton.

Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, September 26, 2019 at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home.  Interment will follow in the St. Paul Cemetery.  Rev. Ivey Jamison will officiate the service.

The family will receive friends in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home on Thursday from 12:00 Noon until time of service.

Mr. Hampton was born March 19, 1922 in Huntingdon, Tennessee to the late Dolan Hampton and Bertha Williamson Hampton. Paul lived an obscure and simple life due to the disabilities and handicap he was born with.  He was also preceded in death by three brothers; Alvin Hampton, Henry Hampton, and Welbert Hampton and his sister, Vinnie Webb Bell.

He is survived by two sisters, Frances Cozart and Rodicie Barnhill, both of Huntingdon, Tennessee.  He also leaves several nieces, nephews as well as a host of great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins.
