Mrs. Peggy Louise Caudill, 80 of Huntingdon, Tennessee, passed away Sunday, August 28, 2022, at her home.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, August 31, 2022, at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home with Bro. Bobby Jordan officiating.  Interment will follow in Hampton Cemetery.

The family will receive friends in the Cherrywood Room of Chase Funeral Home on Tuesday from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM and on Wednesday from 10:00 AM until time of service.

Mrs. Caudill was born June 17, 1942 in Huntingdon, Tennessee, to the late William W. and Mary Elizabeth (Miller) Longmire.  She retired from the weapons assembly department at the Milan Arsenal and also from babysitting.  Other than her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Leon Caudill, Sr., two sons, Jonathan Glen Caudill, Charles Lee "Chuck" Caudill, and two great granddaughters.

She is survived by one daughter, Mary Ann Saigeon (Donald) of Memphis, one son, Leon Caudill, Jr., of Huntingdon, two brothers, William Lee Longmire, Roy Earl Longmire (Myra), both of Huntingdon.  She also leaves six grandchildren, Lisa Saigeon, Alicia Yewell, Shania Caudill, Chelsea Caudill, Rebecca Caudill, Jessica Caudill, eleven great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, and all the loving children that she had a hand in raising.
