Mrs. Peggy Ann (Hodgson) Hopper, 82 of Huntingdon, Tennessee, passed away Friday, June 17, 2016 at the Baptist Memorial Hospital in Huntingdon.
Graveside services will be conducted on Monday, June 20, 2016 at 11:00 AM at the Trezevant Cemetery. Bro. Greg Stanford will officiate the service.
The family will receive friends in the Cherrywood Room of Chase Funeral Home on Sunday from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Monday from 8:00 AM until 10:00AM
Pallbearers who will serve are Max Anderson, Jerry Anderson, Don Anderson, Ethan Turner, Samuel Turner, and Kurt Holbert.
Mrs. Hopper was born July 6, 1933 in Trezevant, Tennessee to the late Marvin and Edna (Yancey) Hodgson. She was a homemaker. She was also preceded in death by three brothers, James Hodgson, Thomas "Pinky" Hodgson, and Dan Hodgson.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Roy Eugene Hopper of Huntingdon; three daughters, Jeannine Cockrill (Ben) of Downers Grove, Illinois, Dana Holbert (Dean) of Parsons, and Rae Turner (Steve) of Shelbyville, Kentucky; one son, Roy Winston Hopper of Huntingdon. She also leaves six grandchildren, Samuel Turner and Ethan Turner both of Shelbyville, Kentucky, Nathan Cockrill and Ashley Cockrill both of Downers Grove, Illinois, Keenan Holbert (Christy) of Corryton, and Kurt Holbert (Melanie) of Decaturville, and four great grandchildren, Jackson Holbert, Lainie Holbert, Trece Holbert, and Tenlee Holbert.
