Mrs. Peggy June Reed, 82 of Huntingdon, Tennessee, passed away Thursday, September 1, 2022 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.

Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, September 6, 2022 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home with Bro. Brian Johnson officiating.  Interment will follow in Sellers Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends in the Chapel of Chase Funeral home on Tuesday, from 11:00 AM until time of service.

Mrs. Reed was born July 9, 1940 in Huntingdon, Tennessee, to the late Hobart and Annie (Holladay) Bridges.  She worked as a seamstress at Henry I. Seigel Company and was a member of the Clarksburg Church of Christ.  Other than her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, of 43 years, Thomas Reed, a sister, Melba Johnson and a brother, Dale Bridges.

She is survived by two daughters, Stephanie DeLaney (Kevin) of Cedar Grove and Lisa Dill of Memphis.  She also leaves four grandchildren, T. J. Dill, Colton Dill, Amanda Oatsvall (Brian), Meagan DeLaney, four great-grandchildren, Keanon Dill, Kyle Dill, Madison Dill, and Jayci Nellett.
