Mr. Pete Smith 69, of Clarksburg, Tennessee passed away Friday, February 21, 2014 at the Med in Memphis from injuries he received in an automobile accident.

Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, February 23, 2014 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Jamison Cemetery. Bro. Philip Halter and Bro. Wendell Cary will officiate the service.

Pallbearers who served were, Morris Kirby, Jimmy Thorton, Michael Smith, Jimmy Fronabarger, Johnny White, Phillip Smith, Stanley Bomar, and Anthony Williams. Honorary pallbearers were Ronald Scott, Paul Burns, Gene Leslie, Roger Parker, Joe Dan Wooten, James Morrissett, Kenny Rush, Ricky Simpson, Johnny Rush, Matt Simpson, Matt Reed, Nick Cobb, Seth McDaniel, Brandon Smith, Brent Smith, Adam Woods, Colin Crossno, Brandon McCormick, Matt McMinn, David Jackson, and Nick Foster.

The family will receive friends in the Cherry Wood Room of Chase Funeral Home on Saturday from 4:00 PM til 9:00 PM and on Sunday from 10:00 AM til time of service.

Mr. Smith was born May 2, 1944 to the late Pritchard and Nell (Belew) Smith in Carroll County, Tennessee. He was a Christian man in faith, owner of Pete's Body Shop in Huntingdon, and in numerous affiliations to do with his body shop. He was also preceded in death by one sister, Mary Lou Smith.

He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Patsy Smith, and one son, Dustin Smith of Clarksburg. He also leaves special family members and a host of many friends.
