Peyton Webb Gates, 18 of Huntingdon, Tennessee passed away Saturday, April 30 2016 at the Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville.

Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, May 5, 2016, at 3:00 PM, in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the New Hope Cemetery. Bro. Billy Clark will officiate the service.

The family will receive friends in the Oakwood Room of Chase Funeral Home on Wednesday from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Thursday from 8:00 AM until time of service.

Mr. Gates was born May 7, 1997 in Huntingdon, Tennessee. He was a member of Westport Church of Christ, a floor technician for Baptist Memorial Hospital and a member of the West Tennessee Car Club. His father, Chuck Gates died on May 1, 2016, and he was preceded in death by his paternal grandfathers, Jimmy Gates and Harry Wilkinson.

He is survived by his mother and dad, Felecia and Marty Wilkinson of Huntingdon, maternal grandparents, Joe and Sybil Webb of Westport, grandmother, Margie Wilkinson of Huron, paternal grandmother, Dotty Gates of Huntingdon, and two brothers, Preston Gates and Parker Wilkinson. He also leaves an uncle, Mark Webb, two aunts, Pam Butler, Robin Collier, three cousins, Brooke Webb, Julie Cole, Kaleb Collier and a host of extended family members and friends.
