Mr. R. J. Hollowell, 68 of Cedar Grove, Tennessee, passed away Saturday, July 2, 2016 at the Baptist Memorial Hospital in Huntingdon.

Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, July 4, 2016 at 10:00 AM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home. Interment to follow in the Leach Full Gospel Cemetery. Bro. Jeff Bryant will officiate the service.

The family will receive friends in the Cherry Wood Room of Chase Funeral Home on Sunday from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM and on Monday from 8:00 AM until time of services.

Mr. Hollowell was born November 4, 1947 in Carroll County to the late Audrine and Alta Lee Hollowell. He was a retired Operator for the Carl Mann Saw Mill. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Edward Hollowell.

He is survived by hi wife of 38 years, Glenda Hollowell, two daughters, Kassie Taylor (husband Byron) and Kimberly Nunley, a son, Roger Hollowell, three sisters, Kathy Reynolds (husband Donald), Judy Smothers (husband Tim), Linda MetCalf (husband Bill), three brothers, Morris Hollowell (wife Jan), William Hollowell and Michael Hollowell, and seven grandchildren Josh, Chase, Heather, Stephanie, Ryker, Wyatt and Everly, all of Huntingdon.
