Mr. Ralph Carroll 78, of Cedar Grove, Tennessee passed away Wednesday, February 4, 2015 at Forest Cove Nursing and Rehab Center in Jackson.

Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, February 8, 2015 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home. Interment will follow in New Independence Cemetery. Bro. Wayne Burton will officiate the service.

The family will receive friends in the Oakwood Room of Chase Funeral Home on Saturday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Sunday from 9:00 AM until time of service.

Mr. Carroll was born April 19, 1936 in Carroll County, Tennessee to the late Homer Ernest and Roxie Lee (Smothers) Carroll. He was a retired logger and farmer. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Lula Mae Carroll; a son, Dennis Wayne Carroll; s sister, Virgie Pierce; four brothers, Adrain Carroll, Avery Carroll, Gordon Carroll, and Billy W. Carroll.

He is survived by one daughter, Peggy Shaskan (husband Frank) of San Antonio, Texas; one son, Tony Carroll Walker of Trezevant, and one sister, Venita Laws of Huntingdon. He also leaves two grandchildren.
