Randy Lynn Cooper, born March 12, 1963, passed away Tuesday, April 28th 2026.

He was retired from Dupont and was proceeded in death by his parents, Howard and Minnie Cooper.

He leaves behind two daughters, Ashely Cooper of Austin, Texas, and Amy Cooper of Camden, Tennessee, two granddaughters Amora Willis of Camden, Tennessee and Severa Grimaldo of Austin, Texas, a sister, Susan Montgomery (Ricky) of Lexington, Tennessee.

His life was deeply rooted in the outdoors and defined by a profound love of hunting. At an early age he found his calling in the woods where he felt most at home. Hunting was not just a past time for him but a way of life. Through changing seasons and early mornings, he embraced the hunt with the skill, patience and respect it required. Beyond the hunt, story telling was a close second. No one could tell a story with more enthusiasm.

Funeral services will be private for the family.

In lieu of flowers, the family encourages honoring his memory by spending time outdoors, respecting nature and sharing the traditions he held near.

His legacy will live on in every sunrise hunt, story told and every life he touched.
