Mrs. Rebecca "Beckie" Frances McCarty 75 of Huntingdon, Tennessee, passed away Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at Baptist Hospital in Huntingdon.

The family plans for a celebration of life service at a later date.

Mrs. McCarty was born September 24, 1946 in Nashville, Tennessee, to the late Dr. Robert Burton "R.B." and Sara E. (McGill) Wilson.  She was self-employed as Caterer and a member of the Huntingdon Church of Christ.  She attended Freed Hardeman, David Lipscomb and the University of Tennessee in Knoxville.  She was a member of Book Lover's Club in Huntingdon, Chair-person of Just Say No Campaign in Campbell County, Tennessee.  Other than her parents, she was also preceded in death by her furry four-legged child "Sophie"

She is survived by her husband of 55 years, James Michael McCarty, one daughter, Hollins McCarty of Huntingdon, two sons, Seth McCarty (Christy) and James "Will" McCarty.  She also leaves one grandson, Taylor McCarty.
