Mrs. Retha Mae King, 82, of Huntingdon, Tennessee passed away Wednesday January 8, 2020 at her home.

Funeral services for will be conducted on Sunday, January 12, 2020 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Carroll Memorial Gardens.  Bro. Bill N. Williams will officiate the service.

The family will receive friends in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home Saturday from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Sunday from 9:00 AM until time of service.

Mrs. King was born November 8, 1937 in Clarksburg, Tennessee to the late Jimmy and Ella (Staten) Williams.  She was retired from Publix Shirt Factory and a member of Smyrna Missionary Baptist Church.  She was also preceded in death by her sisters and brothers-in-law; Corrine (James) Johnson and Shirley (Hulon) Willis.

She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Charlie King; her daughter, Melissa (Phillip) Johnson; two granddaughters, Caneshia Johnson, Rhiannon Johnson; and a sister, Onetia Thomas.  She also leaves a host of sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, and friends that will continue to cherish her memories.  Mrs. Retha will truly be missed by those she has touched during her lifetime.
