Mr. Richard Allen Grooms, 46 of Camden, Tennessee passed away Wednesday, November 9, 2016 at his home.

Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, November 11, 2016 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home. Interment will follow in New Prospect Cemetery. Bro Sammy Douglas and Bro. Doug Tiff will officiate the service.

In Lieu of flowers, the family would like for donations be made to Chase Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends in the Oak Wood Room of Chase Funeral Home on Thursday after 4:00 PM and on Friday from 9:00 AM until time of service.

Mr. Grooms was born March 13, 1970 in Camden, Tennessee to the late Morris Grooms and Nancy (Hutchens) Grooms. He was a retired factory worker for the H.I.S.Company and a member of the New Beginnings Church. He was also preceded in death by one brother, Morris Grooms Jr., and one sister, Sherry Ann Tanaka.

He is survived by one sister, Mary Mitchell (husband Donald) of Buena Vista, four brothers, James Hershel Riggs and Billy Joe Riggs both of Bruceton, Robert Lee Riggs (wife Kim) of Delano, Tennessee and David Earl Riggs (wife Nancy) of Hollow Rock.
